Guy Morrell-Stinson
Guy was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, on November 5, 1960. Guy grew up with a mother who was very religious and a father who gave his life to the Lord in his later years. The whole family became members of the Church of Christ in Bellville, South Africa. Thelma, Guy's mother, has traveled around the world to places like Alaska, Romania, India and Kenya on missionary journeys. Guy's father, Lionel, was a well-respected leader in the Church as well as in business and society.
Guy earned a degree in graphic design at Stellenbosch University and worked for several years at SABC TV as a specialist computer graphics designer and animator. Guy subsequently left SABC TV and has worked for himself as an entrepreneur ever since.
Guy developed an interest in spiritual matters at a very young age, and was inspired by a lesson given by a Sunday school teacher on Solomon asking God for wisdom. Since then, the study of life, God's will, and how it all fits together to bring us meaning has been a passion in Guy's life. The fruit of this passion has led Guy into teaching, writing and coaching on an informal basis. His strengths are in teaching and training, and is the director of Adult Education for Peach Tree. Guy has a wide range of interests and talents and is particularly interested in helping people to bring their God-given talents into fulfillment.
Guy is blessed with a wonderful wife and two children. The family moved to America in August of 2005. |
